Less admin every week
No more copying registers between sheets or chasing coaches for who turned up. Registers arrive complete, and the dashboard tells you what's missing.
A coach app for registers and player feedback, and an admin portal that runs your sessions, coaches and players. Built with, and already in use at, a UK badminton academy.
From planning next term to telling a parent how their child is getting on, everything lives in one place, and everyone sees only what they should.
The admin dashboard shows registers still to complete, consent forms to chase, places left in each group and attendance week by week. Set up a term's sessions in a few clicks: dates are generated for you and half term is skipped.
One tap per player: present, late, absent or excused. It keeps working with no signal at the venue and syncs when the coach is back online. Consent, photo permission and medical alerts sit right next to each name.
Coaches add quick notes and score skills (footwork, racket skills, movement and match play). The draft saves itself, and every assessment stays on the player's record, so progress is written down rather than remembered. Internal notes stay with coaches.
The parent app will show each child's attendance and the feedback their coach chooses to share, in the same app the coaches use. Medical details and coaches' internal notes are never shown to parents.

Filmed with a fictional demo club: every name and number in them is made up. Videos load from YouTube only when you press play.
Big buttons, clear at a glance, and quick to open between rallies. Swipe through the screens coaches use every week.

Skills assessments and session notes build a record for every player, so coaches, parents and the club can see how a player is developing.
Assign a cover coach for one date or a whole run of dates. They see that session and its players, and nothing else.
Weekly groups, venues and courts, with every date generated for the term and breaks skipped. Move or cancel a single date when the hall is booked.
Attendance and the feedback coaches choose to share, in the parent app. Internal notes stay with coaches.
Import your existing register spreadsheets to get started, and export attendance whenever you need it.
Junior clubs hold sensitive information. ShuttleNest was designed around safeguarding from the start, not added on later.
ShuttleNest began with the people taking registers in spreadsheets every week. Every screen is shaped by what coaches and club owners need between sessions: quick to open, clear at a glance and working on a patchy sports-hall connection.
Already in use at a UK badminton academy. More clubs are welcome.
Very little. The coach app does a few things and makes them obvious: see today's sessions, take the register, add a note or an assessment. There's very little to learn.
Yes. Registers are saved on the phone and sent when the coach is back online, so a sports hall with no signal is fine.
Yes. The admin portal imports register spreadsheets (Excel or CSV), matches players and shows you what it will do before anything is saved.
In the UK. Each club's data is kept separately, and access is limited to the people who need it.
It's coming soon. Parents will see their children's attendance and the feedback coaches choose to share, in the same app the coaches use.
It depends on the size of your club. Talk to us and we'll put together a price that fits.
Email us. We'll show you ShuttleNest with your own sessions in mind, set your club up with your name and colours, and help you import your players.
Whether you run a small junior club or a busy academy, we'd love to hear how your sessions work and show you around.
